The name
It comes from the Greek hesychía: stillness, rest, quiet, silence. In everyday Greek it described the absence of agitation, peace, deep calm, places that were serene and secluded. Later, in the monasteries of Mount Athos, the same word became the name of a path of inner stillness and silence, known as hesychasm, between the 13th and 14th centuries.
It is a word that is hard to truly translate, because its meaning is richer than any synonym. To us, it describes exactly the journey we want to give you.

Why a Greek name
Puglia has Greek roots. This was Magna Graecia, and Taranto was founded as a colony of Sparta. For us, a Greek name is a return to our origins.
